Obituary of Gabriella A. Boccongelli

Gabriella A. Boccongelli (nee Lombardi), 78, of South Orange, N.J., died on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at St. Barnabas Medical center, Livingston, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 10:30 a.m. Entombment is at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J. Gabriella was born in Predappio, Italy, and was a resident of South Orange for 58 years. She was a homemaker and attended Our Lady of Sorrows Church in South Orange. She was the beloved wife for 60 years to Sebastino "Sam" Boccongelli; devoted mother to Vitalina Sparling and Mario Boccongelli; loving grandmother of Thomas Sparling, Anna Culton, and Eleanora Sparling, and dear sister of Rita Gentili and Moreno Lombardi.
