Grace,
I think of you often and was looking to get in touch with you when I came upon this very sad news of Robert’s passing. I am so sorry for your loss and my heart goes out to you and your girls. I hope you are taking good care of yourself. Please let's get together soon and talk about old times and how you are doing. You were my closest and dearest friend from those days and I feel like we went through so much together. Let me know if you are free one day for lunch. I can come to you, we can meet in the city or you and your girls are welcome to our house in Riverdale.
Your old Dateline friend- Renee

To Robbie's Loved Ones -
This is Mike Cole, who knew Robbie through our many years as Landon classmates. Though we didn't stay in touch beyond high school, I have so many fond memories of his incredibly friendly personality, infectious smile and tremendous gifts as an artist. I am hopeful that the family can find comfort in all of the wonderful memories that you have.

My deepest condolences to Grace and four little daughters. I knew Bob through his last few years battling cancer and I was in awe of his optimism and determination. I never ONCE heard him complain even though he underwent so much exhausting medical treatment while continuing to work hard. He wanted nothing more than to provide for his family. I am so sad. Stay strong. As that is how he was.

We are so very sad to hear about the loss of Bob, a exceptionally talented architect who created warm, cozy and stunning homes. The love that Bob had for his family transferred so beautifully into his professional career. His dedication to design the perfect home for my family was inspired by the love and dedication he had for his own. His design and creation of exceptional spaces will live on forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with Grace and the girls.

Robbie always amazed me with his artistic talent. I've still never seen a portfolio as sharp as the one he showed me over lunch in Charlottesville just after his UVA graduation. He clearly loved G-d, His family and giving to others with his artistic gift. When we last spoke he described at length the school he designed for disabled children in DC. He was blessed and now his work lives on as a silent blessing to those children. My prayers and thoughts are with his family. May G-d bless you, keep you and give you strength.

We are so sorry for the loss of Bob Miller. From the few but memorable interactions I had with Bob at Far Brook School, such as the third grade parent recorder ensemble and email exchanges about music, it was obvious that he was a gentleman of integrity, intellect and culture, a warm, gentle soul, and a deeply loving parent who was engaged in every aspect of his family's lives. He will undoubtedly be missed by many. Our most loving thoughts go to the whole family, especially to Grace and the girls, Eve, Margot, Lily B and Poppy.

Bob was a wonderful person and friend. Kind, warm, funny, and gentle. When we first saw Bob and Grace together, their love for one another was obvious and wonderful. We cherish the time we shared with them and nothing diminishes that friendship.
We know the Lord has Bob in His eternal care. We also know the Lord will bless, comfort and guide Grace, Eve, Grace, Elizabeth and Frances. And we know Bob will always be with and watch over his family. They are in our thoughts and prayers.
Our deepest condolences,
Andrew and Liza Bloomer

Dear Gigi, You and your family have been (and continue to be) in my thoughts and prayers. I can only imagine how difficult this time is for you all. You are blessed with wonderful and supportive family and friends and I hope that you will derive the comfort you need from everyone who loves you and the girls. I only met Robbie once or twice, but Donna raved about him over the years as a dad, brother-in-law, talented architect, and more. I recall how he designed the amazing guest house at St. Michael's and know that you have many fond family memories from your visits there. Robbie was clearly a great man whom many now mourn with you. I'm sending you love and prayers.
