Sally A. Fallon (nee Katzenberger), 67, of Maplewood, N.J., passed away on Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at home, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, N.J., on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 9:30 a.m. Interment is in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Holle Fuenral Home 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. For more information or to send condolences, please visit jacobhollefuneralhome.com. Born in Newark, N.J., Mrs. Fallon lived in Maplewood for 38 years. She had been a registered nurse in the office of Dr. Jihad Slim, Newark, since 1995. She had also worked for 27 years at St. Michael's Medical Center, Newark, from 1965 to 1992, and most recently was nursing director. She graduated from the hospital's school of nursing in 1965. Very active at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Mrs. Fallon was a baptismal minister, Mass server and a member of the health ministry. Mrs. Fallon was the beloved wife of James D. Fallon; devoted mother of James P. and the late William G. Fallon; loving Nana of Mariel, Gaby and Henry, and dear sister of the late William Katzenberger. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society , 767 Northfield Ave., West Orange, N.J. 07052 would be appreciated.
