To the McArdle family,
I send my deepest condolences for your loss. I've known Gary since middle school. He was always such a jovial presence; funny, sweet and had remarkable energy. I can hear our playful conversations play out in my head as I type. It's very rare to find kind souls amongst the earth. It's extremely rare to find genuinely good people who can remain soft despite the cruel obstacles and curve balls life throws at us. I am happy to have known Gary to be amongst that group of rare finds. His presence and memories will be cherished in my heart forever. Years may have gone by since we have last spoken, but I want you to know from the bottom of my heart, you shared with us, an amazingly gentle person. I thank you.
I know there is nothing that anybody can say to soften your pain at the moment, but I hope just knowing that his friends can only remember the very best of Gary, I hope conceals your heart.
May God console your family through this time and I will continue to pray for the healing of your family.
