We always loved Mary and we admired her musical talents as a soprano soloist. She sang "Because" at my brothers Bill and Dennis' wedding receptions.
Mary was also my godmother, and so she always had a dear place in my memories.
We so enjoyed our time with Mary in 2006, when she visited Eugene, Oregon with an ElderHostel group. Mary came to Eugene to attend an Oregon Bach Festival. We got to take a day trip with Mary, where we visited the Sea Lion Caves near Florence, Oregon, and then eat clam chowder at a seaside restaurant in Newport, Oregon.
We loved Mary, and we miss her wit, intelligence and humor.
