Obituary of Marie J Witkowsky

Marie J. Witkowsky, 96, of Maplewood, N.J., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, at South Mountain Rehab, Vauxhall, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 10:30 a.m. Interment is in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J. Born in Bremen, Germany, Marie resided in Maplewood for 21 years and Irvington, N.J., for 10 years. She was a seamstress for many years with the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union (ILGWU) before retiring. Marie was the beloved wife of the late Johann Witkowsky; devoted mother of the late Baerbel Samaniego; loving grandmother of Peter, Robert and Joey Samaniego, and dear great-grandmother of Jared and Brandon.
