Margaret "Peggy" Sansone (nee Harling), 79, of East Hanover, formerly of Maplewood died suddenly on October 21, 2017. Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange on Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood on Friday, October 27th at 10:00 AM. Interment Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Born in Newark, Peggy had lived in Maplewood for 45 years before moving to East Hanover 10 years ago. She was a cashier at Town Hall Deli in South Orange from 1970-2010. Peggy loved the time she spent with her grandkids who all considered her their best friend. It was known that “Peggy has the kindest soul and the biggest heart.” She was predeceased by husband Daniel J. Sansone, son Daniel J. Sansone Jr., grandson Griffin Brunini, and brother Frank Harling. Peggy is survived by Michael Sansone (Augoustina), Maryann Brunini (Bruno), Donna Giordano (Gregg), Debra Santora (Richard), her grandchildren Jessica, Nicholas, Amanda, Danielle, Brittany, Maria, Courtney, Gina, Gianna, Gabrielle and Halee and many loving nieces and nephews.
