Obituary of Gloria C. Pescatore

Gloria C. Pescatore (nee Ciarrocca), 87, of Manahawkin, N.J., formerly of Mountainside, N.J., and Millburn, N.J., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, in the Southern Ocean Nursing Home, Manahawkin. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills, N.J., on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m. Entombment is at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. She was a music teacher for the Newark Board of Education for many years before retiring. She was a graduate of The Juilliard School of Music in New York City. She was the beloved wife of Michael Pescatore; devoted mother of Gail Wiser, Michael L., and Christopher Pescatore, and loving grandmother of Christopher Pescatore Jr. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, P.O.
