Dear Helen and Erin,
Despite our never having met in the 18 or so years I worked with Chris I wanted to let you know how much I'll miss him here at Schneider. Chris was my customer when he worked at Maher Terminals about 1988 and he was always very helpful and outgoing, even to a twenty-something Customer Service manager at Schneider. I knew him when he joined our Sales force and have worked with him as needed for his entire tenure with SNI, including joint sales calls, many phone and e-mail conversations and of course face to face social interactions at every opportunity. He was a consummate gentleman, kind to everyone I ever heard him interact with and always thoughfully humorous. We'll all miss him at Schneider and we wish only the best for you, the rest of your family and all of Chris's friends going forward.

To the Murray Family,
I have a fond memory of Chris that I would like to share with you. Many years ago, we moved to our new corporate building in Green Bay and Chris was very anxious to see the building. One day, he called out of the blue and asked if I could have him paged on the new paging system. He said that he had always wanted to hear is name being paged. So I called the receptionist and asked to have him paged. As he was being paged, I held up the phone receiver up in the air so that he could hear himself being paged. It was the thril of his life. We laughed about that for many years to come. I remember Chris for his laughter and love for life. His laughter was contagious and made my day alittle brighter. Chris was a larger than life person that had a tremendous amount of useful and useless knowledge. A great Jeopardy contestant I'd tell him. Each time I'd speak w/ Chris on the phone, I'd get off and mumble, 'Man, I love that guy.' I sure am going to miss 'that guy'.
