Olga A. De Michele of Green Brook, passed away peacefully at home, Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect Street, So. Orange, Thursday at 10:30 am. Interment Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday at 2-4 pm at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., So. Orange. Born in Scranton, PA., Olga resided in Maplewood for 77 years before moving to Green Brook, 6 years ago. A homemaker, she was a member of; Our Lady of Sorrows Rosary Society, the Maplewood Senior Citizens, and the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post 220, South Orange. Miss DeMichele was predeceased by her parents, Marco and Carmella DeMichele, and her eight brothers, Harry, Alfred, Rudolph, James, Angelo, William, Armand and John DeMichele. A loving aunt, she is survived by 9 nieces and nephews, and 20 great nieces and nephews. The matriarch of the DeMichele family, Olga was a devoted daughter, a loving sister, and a beloved aunt. She will be deeply missed by both family and friends.
