Words cannot express how saddened I am to hear about Carolyn. I knew Carolyn from working with her at Baby Steps. I will always remember her as being such a very kind and sweet person who always had a smile on her face. She could not do enough for you. She was always enthusiastic and eager to help out in whatever way she could. She always spoke about her children with such love. Dear Gregory, Nicole, Samantha, and Jake,
I had known Carolyn since she was a buyer at Epsteins and I was her sales rep for Baby Steps. I was then lucky enough to have her work with me at Baby Steps after Epsteins closed. She always talked with such pride of how Gregory was doing with his schooling, how Nicole was such a great big sister, and how Samantha and Jake were progressing. I will miss her greatly. She was a genuine person with a huge heart who could never do enough for you. Her strength and determination during her illness was beyond words. My heart goes out to all of you.

Dear Greg, Nicole, Jake, Samantha, the Heide family and the Iantosca family,
No words exist to express my profound sympathy at the painful loss of your loving and wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister. She was special. Carolyn worked with me at Baby Steps and Mish Mish and she was a joy in every way. I loved her and enjoyed listening to her talk about her big family. She spoke with pride and admiration of Greg, about how hard he worked yet still went back to school to further his education. Her love for her 3 beautiful children, Coley, Jakey and Mantha, beamed out in her words, her actions and on the look on her face when she spoke to them or about them. Carolyn was so smart, so knowledgeable, and her high standards and efficiency made everyone’s job easier. She was kind and understanding, never having a bad word to say about anyone. Whatever she had to say was worth listening to and was thought provoking. Carolyn was respected and admired by everyone she came in contact with. Her opinion was sought after by customers, salespeople, designers. When I spoke about her, I called her “my Carolyn” because on the show “The Apprentice”, Donald Trump had an assistant named Carolyn and I would always say, “His Carolyn does not hold a candle to my Carolyn”. I am blessed to have known her.
I cherish every conversation and every moment Carolyn and I spent together these last few months, even though they were such painful and difficult times. Carolyn is a beautiful role model for humanity who taught me and everyone around her about courage, strength, hope, endurance and love.
Carolyn, and all of you, will be in my heart, prayers and thoughts forever. Rest in peace, my Carolyn. I love you.
