Mrs. Franciszka Kolakowsky Zalesky, 89, of West Orange died on Thursday, July 5, 2007. The funeral is private. Arrangements are by the Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange. Born in Warsaw, Poland, Mrs. Zalesky married Arkady Zalesky on May 15, 1940, in Halifax, West Yorkshire County, England. They met on the way to England from their native countries and knew each other only several months before marrying. They lived in England for 12 years before moving to the U.S.A. They resided in South Orange for over 40 years. Mrs. Zalesky was the beloved wife of the late Arkady Zalesky.
