Warren Herendeen, 73, of Guttenberg died on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, in the Hamilton House Nursing Home, Jersey City.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 8 a.m., thence to Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St. South Orange, where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Interment is at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Orange. Born in El Paso, Texas, Mr. Herendeen resided in Guttenberg for 15 years. He was an English professor at Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. for many years before retiring.
