Ferdinando DiGiovanni, 86, of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of Maplewood, N.J., passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Hospice of Palm Beach County, Boynton Beach. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Monday, May 4, at 10 a.m. Entombment is in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maple- wood, on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. For more information or to send condolences, please visit jacobhollefuneral home.com. Mr. DiGiovanni was born in Pratola Serra, Avellino, Italy, and came to this country in 1956. He moved to Maplewood in 1965 and lived there until moving to Florida in 1998. He was the owner and operator of Fred DiGiovanni Landscaping in Maplewood from 1960 to 1998 before retiring. He was the beloved husband of Carmelina DiGiovanni (nee Capozzi); devoted father of Pat DiGiovanni and his wife, Alicia; Laura D'Angelo and her husband, Steven, and Lisa Bella and her husband, Alan; loving grandfather of Anne, Paul, and David DiGiovanni, Jordan and Anthony D'Angelo, and Robert and Drew Bella, and dear brother of Concetta Polcaro, Antoinette Mazza, and Elena Magliaro. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, N.Y. 10001. would be appreciated.
