Obituary of Robert E. Shawcross

Robert F. Shawcross, 89, of Millburn died Dec. 30, 2007, at Overlook Hospital, Summit. Visitation will be held at the Jacob Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Thursday, March 13, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. The graveside service will be at Brig. General Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, at 12:30 p.m. Mr. Shawcross was born in Newark and lived in Millburn for 37 years. He was a post office clerk in Newark from 1949 to 1994 when he retired. Mr. Shawcross served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1941 to 1945. He was the dear brother of the late Raymond Shawcross.
