Gisela Weidner left this world April 22, 2008, leaving her sister Erika Weidner, and brother, Dr. Dan Weidner. Gisela grew up in Millburn. As an honor student, she was offered a Radcliffe College scholarship, declined it, and began a dance career with the Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Radio City Ballet, and Broadway shows. Later, she became Lorca of the renowned Spanish Flamenco duo, Soler and Lorca, featured in major hotel nightclubs, and nightclubs in the U.S.A., Canada, Europe, Israel, islands and Mediterranean cruises, and the last voyage of the SS Ile de France. Gisela was a published author of the charming childrens story, The Little Boy Who Cried Snowflakes. Her paintings and ballet stars wool sculptures were exhibited in the Millburn Public Library every December from 2001 until 2007.
