Miss Marie T. Lintott, 80, of Garwood, formerly of Vailsburg, Newark, died on Thursday, April 2, 2009, at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Monday, April 6, at 10 a.m. Interment is in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Born in Orange, Miss Lintott lived in Vailsburg before moving to Garwood 26 years ago. She was a manager for N.J. Bell, Madison, where she worked from 1946 to 1983, when she retired. Miss Lintott was a member of the Pioneer Club and the Onzettes Club of Newark. She was an alumna of St. Vincent's Academy, Newark.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Clarence J. Lintott and the late Catherine A. Crimmins Lintott; devoted sister of Grace McGrath and the late Catherine Lintott, Margaret Miller, John T., C. Joseph and Alfred Lintott; loving cousin of Mae Crimmins, and dear friend of Thomas Smith. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
