Obituary of Joan A. Milbauer

Joan A. Catallo Milbauer, 75, of Berkeley Heights died on Friday, May 22, 2009, at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd., Chatham, on Thursday, May 28, at 9:30 a.m. Interment is at St. Teresa's Cemetery, Summit. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Born in Orange, N.J., Mrs. Milbauer lived in Berkeley Heights, N.J., for the past 28 years. She was a crossing guard for the New Providence Police Department since 2004. Previously, Mrs. Milbauer was a store manager for many years at Lord & Taylor, and Saks 5th Avenue, both in Millburn. She received a B.A. degree in merchandising from the Fashion Institute of New York in 1952. Mrs. Milbauer was the beloved wife of the late Francis A. Milbauer Jr.; devoted mother of Mary Katherine Milbauer Nazzaro, Julia A., Francis A. III, and Joseph M. Milbauer, and dear sister of Rita Catallo Lewis and John Catallo.
