George William "Will" Ganter, 19, loving son of Susan Sing of Millburn and George V. Ganter of West Orange, and loving brother of Lindsay Ganter of Millburn, passed away from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Friends and family may gather to share their memories of Will with others at the wake at Wyoming Presbyterian Church, 432 Wyoming Ave., Millburn, on Friday, Oct. 23, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be at Wyoming Presbyterian Church on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 9:30 a.m. Interment is in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Will was a 2008 graduate of Millburn High School and had currently been a sophomore at Centenary College, Hackettstown, N.J. He was employed by Morristown Memorial Hospital in the pharmacy department. In life, Will was a devoted son, brother, friend and boyfriend who touched the lives of all who knew him. Although losing Will is a tragedy beyond measure, in his death he has given the gift of life to others through organ donation.
In addition to his parents and sister, Will leaves behind his paternal grandmother, Eleanor Ganter; his girlfriend, Margaux Morreale, and his beloved extended family, including aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be received at Wyoming Presbyterian Church, 432 Wyoming Ave., Millburn, N.J. 07041, in Will's memory.
