Carmino Damore, 80, of Forked River, formerly of Union, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, at Community Medical Center in Toms River.
He was born in Orange, NJ and was a resident of Forked River for 24 years. He worked as an expeditor for Elastic Stop Nut in Union, NJ from 1947 to 1974. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Maplewood, and he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Toms River.
Beloved husband of the late Dolores Harritz Damore. Devoted father of Mary Ann Damore, Barbara McCanna and the late Frank S. Damore. Loving grandfather of Christine Stroetzel, Laura McCanna, Sara McCanna and Frank Damore, Jr. Dear brother of Robert Damore.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 10:00 AM. Entombment, Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood on Wednesday, 8:30-9:30 AM ONLY.
