Obituary of Mary Lynott Bolderman

Mary Lynott Bolderman, 85, a 32-year resident of South Orange, N.J., formerly of Maplewood, N.J., passed away at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J., on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015. Mary was born in Cheyenne, Wyo. She graduated with a B.S. from Bloomfield College and went on to become a registered nurse for the Presbyterian Hospital of Newark, N.J. She retired in the late 1950s after many years of employment. Mary was a member of the Maplewood Club, where she served on the board of trustees and was a past tennis singles and doubles champion for several years. She was also a member of Orange Lawn Tennis Club, and an avid participant in paddle tennis, playing in state tournaments for many years. She was very active in the Maplewood political and social scene. Mary was also one of four founders of Babyland Family Services, formerly called Babyland Nurseries in Newark. She was the beloved wife of Robert Bolderman and the late Edward Lynott; devoted mother of Keith and Mark Lynott; dear mother-in-law of Deborah L. Greene, and loving grandmother of Geoffrey, Sarah, Caroline, and Victoria Lynott. Burial will be private. A celebration of Mary's life will be held at Morrow Memorial Church, Maplewood on Sat, Sept 26, 2015 at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers donations to Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey-Adult Training Center, 1150 Springfield Ave, Irvington, NJ 07111 in memory of Mary Lynott Bolderman would be appreciated. Arrangements are by The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home of Maplewood.
