Praying for Fr. Joe's soul and consolation to his family. Fr. Joe was a gentle giant in every sense. It was an honor to work for him. Will really miss his incredible stories and special personality. He's looking kindly on us for certain.

Father Wortmann was my German teacher for my first two years at SHP. I learned much from him and not just languages. A great man as well a great teacher, I am certain that his ministries will continue elsewhere now that he has been called home by the Lord. Rest in Peace, Father Wortmann.

Fa. Wortmann was a dedicated teacher and will be remembered for teaching my son Kurtis the German language that he loved and is now a special part of my sons life. He will not be forgotten. Aufwiedersehen Father.
