When he was 3 days old , Dr Falla saved the life of my son. He’s now a 49 year old college professor, a joy and a blessing to his family and friends. Without Dr Falla’s skill,and indeed courage, in operating on a tiny newborn who was bleeding into his abdominal cavity, he would have been lost . I wonder at all the other lives she must have saved , the gratitude of all the other families she saved from a lifetime of grief and longing. My gratitude is unending .

Dr. Falla saved my life in 1992 after a car accident. I will never forget seeing Dr. Falla walking past my bed every day after waking up from a medically induced coma. One day I smiled at her, and she stopped and smiled back at me. She did not know if I would make it until that day. I was ten years old. My family and I are eternally grateful.

My condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Dr. Falla. I will be eternally grateful to this great woman for her surgical skills by which she saved the life of my baby daughter in 1982. Rest easy now, Dr. Falla, you have earned it, as well as your place in Heaven.

Nitti was a magnificent woman. She used her God given gifts to help children get well so they could have wonderful childhoods. She will always be held in the highest esteem. I often think of her sound advice. She said, with great enthusiasm: "Find something you love to do and DO IT, oh, yes... DO IT!" You certainly gave us a magnificent example in your life. We thank God for Dr Falla (Female Surgeon)to exist in 1972 and be able to save our baby girl's life. She was born with Esophageal Atresia, deformity of the food pipe. That girl is now a woman of 46. We are so grateful for the comfort and care she gave us and our daughter. Our condolences to her family. John & Annie Martin
