Obituary of Marie Carmela Masi

Maria Carmela Masi (nee Falvo), 92, of Chatham, N.J., formerly of Maplewood, N.J., died on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Thursday, March 1, at 10 a.m. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Since the burial will be in Gizzeria, Italy, please omit flowers. Born in Gizzeria, Italy, Maria, a homemaker, resided in Chatham Township, N.J., for 15 years and was formerly of Maplewood for 31 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Clelio Masi; devoted mother of Grazia Vescio and her husband, Mario, Maria Echeverri and her husband, Hernan, Pasqualina Vescio and her husband, Vittorio, and the late Antonino, Rosaria, Quintina and Giuseppina Masi, and the loving grandmother of Raffaele, Sabina, Tiziana, Fabiola, Mario, Marcella, Maurizio, Sandra, Claudio and Adriana.
