Obituary of Jean Kurtz

Miss Jean Kurtz, 93, of Maplewood, N.J., died on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, in St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Thursday, March 15, at 11 a.m. Interment is in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Miss Kurtz lived in Maplewood for over 70 years. She was a dental assistant for the International Longshoremen's Union, Newark, N.J., from 1960 until retiring in the 1980s. Miss Kurtz was the beloved sister of Albert Kurtz, Seymour "Sy" Kurtz, Minalee Carson, Barbara Bayer, Marion "Mickey" Bullock, and the late Louis Kurtz and Dorothy "Dubby" Sayre; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
