Lucille M. Grillos, 87, of Basking Ridge, N.J., formerly of Summit, N.J., passed away on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, in Sunrise Assisted Living, Basking Ridge.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, N.J., on Friday, Dec. 28, at 10:30 a.m. Interment is in Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, N.J. Born in Hazleton, Pa., Mrs. Grillos resided in Summit for 10 years, and had lived in Basking Ridge for the past two years. She was a waitress for over 65 years at various restaurants in the area, including Pal's Cabin, Claremont Diner, the Stouffers Restaurant at the Short Hills Mall, and the William Pitt Restaurant. She also owned the William Pitt Gift Shop for five years. She worked for David's Deli in Caldwell, N.J. for many years before retiring.
Mrs. Grillos was the beloved mother of John Grillos and Lucille Martini; loving grandmother of Meredith, Mark and Alexia Grillos, Carlo Martini and Danielle Rios; dear longtime companion of the late Wilson Hahl; she is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
