Obituary of Meghan Claire Doyle

Meghan Claire Doyle, 26, of Maplewood, NJ, passed away Sunday, May 19, at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ after a sudden illness. A wake will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood on Thursday, May 23, from 4-8 PM, and a Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Friday, May 24, at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church 217 Prospect St., South Orange. She is survived by her parents, William J. Doyle, Jr., and Virginia Needham-Doyle, and her brother, Theodore. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Mary Doyle and the late William J. Doyle of Allenhurst, NJ and the late Dr. and Mrs. John J. Needham of Freeport, New York. She is also survived by several loving aunts and uncles: Mary Ann Needham of New York City, John and Katie Needham, of Doylestown, PA , Michael and Claire Guadagno of Chatham, NJ, Brian and Cathy Rogers of Allenhurst and Brian Doyle of Allenhurst. Megan was cherished by her cousins – Trevor and Becky Needham, Bridget Needham and Dan Gummere, Drew Needham, Matthew, Andrew and Maureen Guadagno, and Colleen, Brian, John and Stephen Rogers. Meghan attended Our Lady of Sorrows School in South Orange (2001) and Mount Saint Dominic Academy (2005) in Caldwell, NJ. She was a 2009 graduate of the Charles F. Dolan School of Business, Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. After graduation she joined Charitybuzz. As an Auction Specialist at Charitybuzz, Megan facilitated more than forty major non-profit foundations and charitable organizations, raising funds to further their missions. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for contributions to be made in her memory to Mount Saint Dominic Academy, 3 Ryerson Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006 or Fairfield University, 1073 North Benson Road, Fairfield, CT 06824.
