Obituary of Carlo Peter Bosco

Carlo Peter Bosco, 87, a lifelong resident of Union, NJ, died on Monday, July 1, 2013 at Overlook Hospital. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Avenue, Maplewood, NJ. (www.jacobhollefuneralhome.com) The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 8 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood. Carlo was predeceased by his parents, Nunzia and Peter V. Bosco, by his brother and sister-in-law, Louis A. and Helen Bosco, by his brother-in-law, Anthony Barone, and by his grandniece Andrea Bosco. He is survived by his loving sisters and brother-in-law, Angelina and Richard Mayer, Mary Ann Mills and Chuck Theiss, and Nancy Barone. Carlo is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews, 16 grandnieces and grandnephews, and 10 great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. Mr. Bosco served in the United States Navy, during WWII. He worked many years for Cooper Alloy in Hillside and Automatic Process Control in Union as a machinist, before his retirement. His interests included family, golfing, hiking in South Mountain Reservation, bowling, sailing and skiing. He will be deeply missed by his family.
