Obituary of Jane S. Hess

Jane S. Hess, 81, (nee Jastrzembska) of Maplewood, N.J., died on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at her home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Wednesday, Aug. 7, at 10 a.m. Interment is private. Jane graduated from East Side High School in Newark, N.J., in 1949. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph's Church in Maplewood. Jane was a diehard N.Y. Giants fan. She was the dear wife of the late Philip H. Hess; devoted mother of Christine and her husband, Joseph Brower Jr., Barbara and Philip Hess; loving grandmother of Joseph III and his wife, Andrea, Jacqueline, Christopher, and Katelyn Brower; great-grandmother of Joseph W. Brower; beloved sister of the late Alfreda Stanish and Teddy Jastrzembski; dear aunt of Susan Howarth and Joseph Stanish.
