Obituary of Kathleen R. Reheis

Kathleen Regina Reheis (nee Harrington), 102 , died on 11/03/2015, in Edmonds, Washington. The oldest of four children, Kay was born in Newark, New Jersey, on September 3, 1913. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, John W. Reheis; a brother and two sisters. Kay was a dedicated homemaker, wife and mother. She and her husband raised two children in Maplewood and Short Hills, NJ, where she was an active PTA volunteer and Scout leader. She was a former longtime member of the Maplewood Country Club, Rock Spring Club, Rolling Hills Garden Club and the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Rose of Lima. Following the death of her husband in 2005, she relocated from Summit, NJ, to Washington State. Kay is survived by a son, Paul, and his wife Michelle, a daughter, Christine, and her husband Bradford, and four grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills, NJ, on Monday, January 11, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside, NJ.
