I just found out about Dick's passing and am heartbroken at the news. We spent summers painting houses together. I will treasure the many happy times we spent smiling and laughing our way through our teenage years. Truly a very special person with an ever present smile who always had time for his friends. RIP Dickie!

Good Bye old friend. We shared a lot of laughs, some interesting thoughts about life, a few drinks and even managed to do some business as brokers together. I will always remember you for your humor, your tenacity, your devotion to your family, your honesty, and your ability to laugh at yourself as well. You served your country in time of war but never thought of yourself as a hero- just as a guy doing his duty. I hope we get a chance to meet in another place whenever that may happen. You will be missed by those whose lives you have touched and who now mourn your departure.

I wish I had heard about this in time to attend his memorial service Having grown up with Dick he was one of my closest friends.Dick and his family always treated me as part of the family. I just found out that Dick passed away. He was my prefect during my first year as a sophomore at TP. Dick was a helpful mentor and friend to both me and my brother Tom.
