Obituary of John J. Colasanti

John J. Colasanti Verona attorney, assistant prosecutor, Air Force vet, 65 John J. Colasanti, 65, of Verona, N.J., passed away on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, in Father Hudson House, Elizabeth, N.J. Born in Newark, N.J., Mr. Colasanti was a graduate of Seton Hall Law School. He served in the U. S. Air Force during Vietnam War from 1968 to 1970. A self-employed attorney at law, Mr. Colasanti was a former Newark police officer and a former assistant prosecutor in Essex and Sussex counties. He was the devoted father of John D. Colasanti and his wife, Justyna; dear brother of Anthony Colasanti and Barbara C. Ferguson, and the loving son of the late John A. and Millie (Devino) Colasanti. Services were private. Arrangements are by The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, Maplewood, N.J.
