Obituary of Norma M. Rigas

Norma M. Rigas, 95, of South Orange passed into eternal rest on Friday, Dec 18, 2015. The family will be receiving friends at Preston Funeral Home 153 South Orange Ave, South Orange on Sat, January 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM followed by a Celebration of her Life at 3:00 PM. Mrs. Rigas was a lifelong resident of South Orange. She was an executive secretary for The Rails Co. in Maplewood from 1974-1999. Before that, she worked for many years with her husband at his company, Alpha Advertising in Newark. She was the beloved wife of the late Alexander G. Rigas, devoted mother of Pamela O'Connor, Melissa Rigas-Desbonnes and the late Cynthia Viera and Stephen Rigas, dear sister of Gloria Bonante, Corinne Boyle, Judith Light and the late Marguerite Tomlinson and Benjamin Melfi. Mrs. Rigas is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
