Obituary of Francis W. Nee Jr.

Francis "Frank" W. Nee Jr., 80, of Maplewood, N.J. died April 15, 2016. The funeral was private, with arrangements made by The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, Maplewood. Mr. Nee was born in Harford, Conn., and lived in Maplewood for 38 years. He graduated from Harvard College with a bachelor's degree in economics in 1958 and from New York University with a master's degree in accounting in 1971. Frank was a sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1965. He was president and chief executive officer of Private Export Funding Corp., New York City, from 1971 to 1993. He was a trustee and president of Planned Parenthood, Essex County, from 1980 to 1985, and served on the national board of Planned Parenthood from 1984 to 1985. He was predeceased by his wife, Jane Leger Nee. He is survived by his sons, Robert F. and Christopher L.; his brothers, Michael D. and John P., and grandchildren Sulay D. and Sajan S.
