Thomas J. Magliaro, 90, a resident of South Orange, N.J., for 60 years, passed away at Overlook Medical Center. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 South Orange Ave., South Orange, on Monday, Dec. 19, at 10:30 a.m. Interment is at Hollywood Cemetery, Union, N.J. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, N.J., on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. Thomas was born in Maplewood. Working with his brother, Luke, he was the owner/operator of Magliaro Bros. Landscaping of South Orange for over 60 years. He retired in 2010. Thomas served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater. Thomas was the beloved husband of the late Helen Rischmann Magliaro; devoted father of Judith Tracey, Susan Dilbeck, Thomas J. Magliaro Jr., and Lori Horton, and dear brother of Florence Kearney. He was predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters. Thomas is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
