Obituary of Sonia Turiansky

On Monday, Jan. 23, 2017, Miss Sonia Turiansky, 93, of West Orange, N.J., passed away. The family will be receiving friends at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood, N.J., on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. followed by a service at 6 p.m. A graveside service will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair, N.J., on Friday at 12 noon. Miss Turiansky, born in Kolomyia, Poland, lived in West Orange for 45 years. She was employed as a supervisor of the jewelry polishing department of Tessler and Weiss Co. in Union, N.J., for 24 years and retired in the early 1990s. She was the dear partner of the late Joan DiBella; beloved aunt of Bernice Plesnik, Janet Doyle, Paul and Vincent Stalets; and Paul and Edward Czekaj.
