Obituary of Catherine McLaughlin

On Feb. 28, 2017, Catherine McLaughlin, 71, of Irvington, N.J., passed away at home. The family will be receiving friends at The Jacob Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, N.J., on Friday, March 3, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mrs. McLaughlin, born in Newark, N.J., lived in Irvington for 45 years. She was a contract administrator with Steiner Equities in Roseland, N.J., from 1962 to the present. She was an animal lover who was active in numerous animal rescue groups. She was the devoted mother of Dawn Plum and her husband, David, and Frank McLaughlin; dear sister of George Thomas Davey Jr. and Alfred Davey; and loving grandmother of Karianna, Ian, and Amber.
