Obituary of Rosario Ditta Jr.

Rosario Ditta Jr., 71, of Livingston, N.J., died suddenly on March 26, 2017, at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Newark, N.J., Rosario lived in Livingston for the past 40 years. He was owner and operator of Pearl Vision in Nutley, N.J., from late 1990s to the present, and was also the owner and operator of Downtown Salon in Madison, N.J., from the late 1980s to the present. Rosario was known as a selfless person who was always there for friends and family. He was a very hard worker who was always at one of his two business. A fun-loving person who brought joy to everyone he met, he is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Theresa Verduce Ditta; devoted daughters, Leslie Heller and her husband, Thomas, and Nicole Ditta, and his loving grandchildren, Carly, Nicholas, Tommy, Dante, and Chloe. The funeral is private. Arrangements are by Preston Funeral Home, South Orange, N.J.
