Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Mrs. Sullivan. Although I only knew her briefly, she was an inspiration to so many. I always enjoyed seeing her and her "crew" and will miss the smiles, laughter and banter that she often brought with her, despite what she was going through.

Dear Kelley, Amanda Ryan and Teddy;
I was your Mom's suite or sweet mate freshman year in college. the first night she had me streak her hair. I had never streaked anyone's hair and I don't think I did the best job., but she was very kind to me. I am so sorry for your loss,
but what a great example of courage. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Marti was a warm-hearted friend to all. She possessed a wonderfully calm demeanor, but all who knew her were always ready for the unexpected. We shared a few dating "adventures" after college and always had a blast together. Marti's sense of style was always a cut above the rest and she always looked fabulous. Seeing her at our last reunion, one would never know she was anything but 100%! That was who Marti was...a class act to the end. Her grace, smile and warmth will be missed. May she rest in peace. My love to her family.

Dear Kelley, Amanda, Ryan & Teddy
As a family who shared with you so much of the "early days" at Christ Church nursery school and then Saint Rose of Lima parochial school, we mourn Marti's passing with you. Grateful to have had the chance to visit with her last June, awe-struck to get her February card and see that Utah with Caitlin and Aiden had been added to her "live remaining days to the FULLEST" travelogue. The poem "Erat Hora" came to mind almost immediately last June after Marti and I visited in her garden, bees happily buzzing under bright sun around her flowers as we caught up on lives, kids, grandkids, weddings, funerals (Phil), her happy anticipation at jumping into her car to head to her Rosemont reunion. And joked that the recipe for my gifting jug of "Chemo-Moonshine" would never have passed our "exacting standards" for the infamous SRL-HSA Saints Preserve Us! cookbook she initiated as HSA President. She was blessed by your TLC through her illness, and she was a blessing in the lives of all she befriended. Life unto life. Team Sullivan forever!

Kelly, Amanda, Ryan and Teddy,
Your mom was a valiant fighter and I'll remember her so fondly! From paddle clinic at CB to Wednesday morning book group, she always had a smile on her face and spirit in her heart. I loved going to her home for book group as I knew she'd find SOME holiday to decorate the entire place! Easter, St. Patrick's Day...she had such wonderful taste and even served coordinating food! Such a beautiful woman inside and out. Sending lots of love and prayers, now she's at peace.

Marti was one of my first yoga students registering for class through the Summit Adult School. She was my longest tenured students--about 18 years. She brought many others to my class. I could never keep up with her one-on-one. Her wit & humor were always steps ahead of me. Our yoga Christmas gatherings started and continued in her beautiful holiday-decorated homes in Short Hills & Madison. Even in these past 2 1/2 years she attended many classes, sometimes with her new blonde or strawberry blonde hair. Lucky me-- I probably encountered her over 1,700 times--she with the smile & happy face every time. My deepest sympathy to the Sullivan Family.
