Obituary of Marilyn Steitz

Marilyn Steitz, 84 formerly of Union and Maplewood passed away on June 6, 2018 in Boca Raton, Fl with her family by her side. Born in Newark, Marilyn lived in Union and Maplewood before moving to Boca Raton 20 years ago. She was head of the Mortgage Department at Gibraltar Savings Bank in Newark for many years. A loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, she will be dearly missed. Marilyn was predeceased by her son Fred Steitz IV. She is survived by her Daughters, Theresa “Terri” Richardella and her husband Joe, and Donna Deverter, seven grandchildren, Carla Schnepf, and her Husband Ryan, Fred Gregory Steitz, Joseph Manochio, and his Wife Heather, Nicholas Manochio and his Wife Alyssa, Gina Brogan and her Husband Michael, Nicholas Richardella and Marisa Richardella, and four Great Grandchildren, Brooke Manochio, Joseph Manochio, Tyler Schnepf and Kylie Schnepf. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Michael’s Church, 1212 Kelly Ave., and Union on Mon, June 11, 2018 at 10:15 AM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover. Visitation will be held at The Jacob Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood on Sun, June 10th from 2:00 - 6:00 PM.
