Another story of a great American striver comes to a close. Mr. T always extended warmth and friendliness to my family, beginning with the day I met him at Katy Thompson's baptism 20+ years ago. He and Grace were a fruitful vine, giving NJ a legion of offspring who aspire to be productive, contributing citizens. His light is not extinguished, rather, it now is reflected from the numerous lives, places, and things that he touched. Peace and blessings to his surviving family, friends, and colleagues.

Mr. Thompson was one of the GREATEST GUYS of the GREAT GENERATION. My time with him was always memorable with wisdom, honesty, and fun. He will be missed, but not forgotten in the eyes of his friends. GOD BLESS Mr. Thompson hope to see him up there. Joe Luzi

My husband Myron Martynetz, our children, and I are saddened to learn of Mr. Thompson's passing. He was our wonderful neighbor for many years, and we loved to hear his stories about his large family, in whom he had such pride. I regret that my husband's serious illness will prevent him from attending the services, Mary-Ellen Skenyon 62 Montrose Ave. South Orange
