Geter --- On Sunday, January 15, 2006 Alma C. Greene Geter of Orange, NJ formerly of Groton, CT (Brandford Manor Apartments). Beloved wife of the late Walter W. Geter. Devoted mother of the late Walter W. Jr., Howard C., Carlton Geter and Constance Shaw. Adopted mother of Kenny Geter. Dear sister of Grace Parker and the late Marjorie Johnson. Also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from Preston Funeral Home 153 South Orange Ave, South Orange, NJ on Thur, Jan 19th at 9:30 AM thence to Sacred Heart Church, Vailsburg, Newark, NJ where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 AM. Interment on Feb 1st at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. Mrs. Geter belonged to Sacred Heart Church, Groton, CT. She was a member of Fleet Reserve Auxillary and the Groton Senior Citizens.
