I want to extend my deepest sympathies to Julie and the rest of the Hoebee family. I know that it is so very hard to lose a family member, especially someone as vibrant and precious as Lisa. I will forever remember her beautiful smile that lit up each and every life that Lisa touched. Lisa had a heart of gold that was far bigger than that of anyone else I have ever known.
A person like Lisa comes along but once in several lifetimes. Those of us who were lucky enough to have been touched by Lisa's love, energy and charm must cherish that forever.
I will miss Lisa, even though I haven't seen her in many years... the power of her person was strong enough to have stayed with me all these years. I will be forever grateful to have known Lisa and to have been even a small part of her life.
There is a song that plays in my head each and every time I think of or hear about Lisa. It is a very appropriate song title today, as Lisa is 'Reunited' with God and all her family that have gone before her.
My most sincere condolences to all...

To the Hickson family.
Please accept our condolences in the death of dear Lisa. I did not know her personally, but knew Steve growing up in our Branchburg neighborhood. And Muriel remains a good friend. She always talked about Lisa's vibrant sprirt and generosity with us. I am sure with loving family and friends Lisa will live on in the hearts of many. May she rest in peace. Sincerely, Tina & Tom

I am deeply saddened with the news of Lisa's passing. Though I never met Lisa, her brother Mark is a wonderful person and I am sad for Mark, Larry and the kids. Stephen and Ashley won't grow up to know their aunt and that so unfortunate. My thoughts are with the family.

There are people who’s lives are filled with great accomplishments. They may come from royalty, or be born into a life full of riches. Some are simply geniuses, or those who have made their mark through the life of the rich and famous. Their names and faces are recognizable to the world. Yet, despite their notoriety, many do not leave a legacy of what defined the most important aspect of their existence. Were they good people?
Lisa may never be cited in the archives of notable people, her life had far greater value and held a steady and consistent glow that warmed the hearts of all who knew her. She was a good person. Her personality sparkled and affected everyone she touched. She didn’t need to be the center of attention, people just naturally gravitated to her.
You never quite knew what to expect from her. She could be quiet and reflective, or wild and outrageous. She laughed easily and had an infectious personality that you just couldn’t help but like. She would embrace you as she seemed to embrace most things, openly and with no hidden feelings of who she was or what she expected. She was an open book, what you saw on the outside, what was she was on the inside. She simply glowed.
Lisa may no longer be a physical presence on earth, but her spirit will always be a part of us and will live forever in our hearts. Our guardian angel of the North Hill. A everlasting gift, always present, watching lovingly over us.

Steve,
The last time that I spoke with Lisa we were still joking about BD and "the Base". She had an excellent sense of humor and was always ready to laugh, despite her struggle. She never complained and always left me with the positive sense that she was working through it all. It is still hard to believe that she is gone. Please extend my condolences to Lisa's family. You are in my thoughts.
