Rooney --- On Saturday April 8, 2006 Peter J. Rooney of Short Hills, beloved husband of Cathy Aurnhammer Rooney of Short Hills, devoted father Mary Beth and her husband Dave Kady of Brick, Sharon and her husband Scott Mayer of Bridgewater, Peter J. Rooney Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Cranford, and Karen Rooney of Madison, Loving grandfather of Amanda Kady, Andrew and Matthew Mayer, dear brother of Patricia Lauter of East Stroudsburg PA. Catherine Ryan of Point Pleasant, James Rooney of Ocean Pines MD., and the late John Rooney. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills, on Wednesday, April 12 at 10:00 AM. Interment St. Teresa's Cemetery, Summit. Visitation will be held at The JACOB A. HOLLE FUNERAL HOME, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood on Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM .
