Angelo A. Iantosca, 83, a lifelong resident of South Orange, N.J., died at home on Sunday, July 17, 2016. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady Of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Wednesday, July 20, at 9:30 a.m. Interment is in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. For more information or to send condolences, please visit prestonfuneralhome.net Born in South Orange, Angelo was co-owner and operator of South Orange Contracting Company from 1950 until he retired in 1995. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in South Orange and the Knights of Columbus in Union, N.J. Sergeant Iantosca served served as a medic in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He devoted his life to his family and was happiest when he spent time surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren, especially when they were all gathered at the family shore house in Lavallette. Angelo was the beloved husband of JoAnn Principe Iantosca; devoted father of Stephen A. and his wife, Susan, Alan P., Gregory S. and his late wife, Carolyn Iantosca, Beth Ann Smith and her husband, Gary, Jennifer Cascio and her husband, Joseph and the late Angelo Iantosca III. He was the loving grandfather of Christopher, Timothy, Mark, Matthew, Nicole, Jake, Samantha, Alexandra, Danielle Sophia and Olivia; great-grandfather of Travis; dear brother of Marie Graessle and the late Ralph, Thomas, Rocco, John and Lucille. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a veteran's charity of your choice .
