JASCUR Cyril M. Jascur Foundry company supervisor, 86 Active at Catholic parish in Maplewood Cyril M. Jascur, 86, of Maplewood died on Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Josephs Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at 10 a.m. Interment is in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. For more information or to send condolences, please visit jacobhollefuneralhome.com. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Mr. Jascur lived in Maplewood for 57 years. He was a supervisor with the Meeker Foundry Co., Newark, where he worked from 1939 to 1973, when he retired. Mr. Jascur was a member of the Rainbow Seniors of St. Josephs and the Knights of Columbus Council 4066 and Senior Club No. 2 and was also a Eucharistic minister, bingo worker and sexton at St. Josephs Church. He was the beloved husband of Marie Chopko Jascur; devoted father of John Jascur, Rosemary Morton, Margaret Bedle, Geralyn Orcutt, Joseph Jascur, Elizabeth Sileo and Michael Jascur; dear brother of Marian Melnyk and Josephine Check, and is also survived by 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
