Nicholas M. Nicholas (Dad) also known as Nick to most of his friends was born and raised in the small Italian section of Orange, New Jersey known as Little Italy. He enjoyed spending his days surrounded by friends and doing things that he loved. He enjoyed listening to classic 50’s and remembering the good old days. One of his favorite places was the staple Italian Café on Lincoln Ave in Orange. He would play the Italian card game scopa and indulge in all the fun that surrounded him. He would never miss a day’s lunch at Just Like Nonnas right across the street from the Italian Café “Club”. Every year he would attend the Italian feast and always have a smile on his face.

Nicholas is survived by his ex wife Audrey Pendergast. His son Matthew Spano, daughter Marianne Spano and his baby Nicole Marie Spano-Reitmeyer “Coley”, son in-law Chris and granddaughter Jaida Rayne Reitmeyer. He is also survived by his sisters Yolanda Cortese of Brick, NJ, Maryann Darzentas of Saratoga Springs, NY. We would also like to include our beloved Aunt Barbara (Bobbie) Malanga who is no longer with us but forever in our hearts as is our Father. For more information or to send condolences please visit prestonfuneralhome.com

In his last days he would turn to me and say “ who loves you baby and I would reply, you daddy”
