Obituary of Joseph Patrick Lowe

Joseph Patrick Lowe, 81, of Maplewood died on Thursday, March 22, 2007, at home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, on Sunday, March 25, at 4:30 p.m. Interment will be private. He was a guidance counselor with the Newark School system from 1955 to 1996 when he retired. Mr. Lowe earned a bachelors degree in English from Upsala College and a masters in pupil personnel services from Kean University. He was the beloved husband of Doris Finley Lowe; devoted father of Steven John and Catherine Lowe; dear brother of Charles Lowe, and uncle of Mildred Izarry.
