Marjorie Dawn Engel, 41, of Morris Plains passed away after a long illness on April 9, 2007. A private celebration of her life is planned. Arrangements are by The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, N.J. 07040. Dawn graduated from Morristown High School, where she was an All-American swimmer and a Nationals swimmer at the Lakeland Hills Y.M.C.A. in Mountain Lakes. She graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, with a B.A. in business and anthropology. Dawn participated in the Outward Bound Program and was selected to participate in the Operation Raleigh Expedition to Australia. During her world travels, she met and maintained relationships with many loyal friends. As an employee of Johnson and Johnson/Ortho Pharmaceutical Company, she distinguished herself in sales and was named the 1991 New York Area outstanding divisional institutional representative and the 1993 Garden State Division sales representative of the year. She was product manager for J&J International in Madrid, Spain. Dawn developed a program called Virtues and Vices based upon the teachings of Aristotle that has been embraced by Boston University. Dawn was the beloved daughter of Eugene E. and Marjorie Barnard Engel; devoted sister of Brian E. Engel; loving granddaughter of Evelyn C. Engel, dearest girlfriend of Jerry Martin, and is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to Compassion and Choices, P.O.
