Mrs. Loretta M. Radler, 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 14, 2007, in the Muhlenberg Medical Center, Plainfield. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Friday, May 18, at 9 a.m., thence to St. Josephs Church, Maplewood, where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Interment is at Hollywood Cemetery, Union. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. For more information or to send condolences, please visit jacobhollefuneralhome.com. Born in Newark on May 10, 1917, to Ladice and Louise Prager, Mrs. Radler lived in Maplewood for 64 years before moving to Bridgewater in 2004. She was a salesperson for Muirs department store in Summit from 1967 to 1973. Mrs. Radler was a former Girl Scout leader at St. Josephs Church, Maplewood, and a member of the churchs Rosary Society and Rainbow Seniors. She was a devoted mother, Grandma and Great-Grandma, and will be sadly missed by friends and family. Mrs. Radler was predeceased by her husband, Frank Radler, and her son-in-law, Laurence Meier. Surviving are her daughter, Loretta Lorrie Meier of North Plainfield; grandson, Lt. Col. Scott Meier and his wife, Lisa, of Mannheim, Germany; granddaughter, Sheryl and husband, Paul Marco, of Endicott, N.Y., and four great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Jake Meier and Stephanie and Emily Marco. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Josephs Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, N.J. 07040 would be appreciated.
